I’m a fourth year student at the University of Oregon, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Ethnic Studies. I’m pursuing a career in long form investigation with a specialization in Human Rights.

I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and spend part of the year living in the Philippines, which gives me a global perspective that inspires my storytelling and strengthens my commitment to meaningful reporting.

This past summer I interned with The Chronicle newspaper, based in Accra, Ghana. I currently work with publications, Align Magazine and Flux Magazine.

Hi! My name is McKenzee Manlupig!
